Stavesacre resurrected themselves about 3 years ago to dust off some cobwebs, & recorded a sonically & lyrically amazing album called “1995”, which they wrote out in Roman Numerals, just to remind us that they went to grade school in the 70s. This album didn’t feel quite right to me, when it originally came out on vinyl to a small group of crowd-funders, & I always wanted to steal the opportunity to redo it.. so one day. I did. The front and back cover exist more harmoniously together now, from a design standpoint, & the essay. The Twilights Own’s essay is beautifully & delicately written as a love letter to the fans. This “high dispersion” or vinyl nugget / “rippling” effect from vinylrecordpressing turned out really nicely.. one of the nicest-looking, unique vinyl records I have been involved with. I hope you all dig it.. side not on the custom-printed test pressing jacket: I took an illustration of a winding watch that Mark had done, and replaced the “infinity” dial symbols with the letters 1-9-9-5. I just thought it looked kinda cool, & it looks even radder up on Dirk Lemmenes’ wall. Tooth and Nail records really blessed me with the ability to take a leap outside the norm here, to them I am extremely thankful.
